Jackson Annual Lecture

The Jackson annual lecture is a tradition in the Department of Mass Communication of the University. Each year, an alumnus is invited to deliver a public lecture in the Department. The overall aim is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. This tradition began in 2011 during Professor Nnanyelugo Okoro's tenure as the Head of the Department. Since then, different accomplished alumni of the Department have been invited to come and deliver public lectures on burning issues. The Department hopes to keep this cherished tradition.
